Terms & Conditions for Hajj and Umrah Services
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking and embarking on your Hajj or Umra
pilgrimage. These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with Tourice Tour & Travels and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both parties.
1. Eligibility
The minimum age for performing Hajj is as stipulated by the Saudi authorities (usually 18 years old unless accompanied by a guardian). There is no minimum age for Umrah.
All pilgrims must hold valid travel documentation, including a passport, visa, and health certificates as required by Saudi Arabian authorities.
Pilgrims must be physically fit to undertake the strenuous activities of Hajj or Umrah, including walking long distances and enduring crowded conditions.
Each pilgrim is required to comply with all visa, health, and safety requirements as set by the Saudi government, including mandatory vaccinations such as Meningitis and other recommended vaccines.
2. Booking and Payments
A non-refundable deposit of 5000 is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid 02month before the departure date.
All prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated. Prices include accommodation, transportation, and other services as specified in the package.
Prices may be subject to change due to fluctuations in airline fares, hotel costs, or other factors beyond our control.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Pilgrim:
Cancellations made [number of days] before the departure date will be subject to a BDT. 5000.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 10 before departure will forfeit the entire amount paid.
Cancellation by the Company:
In case of unforeseen circumstances such as visa denial, changes in Saudi regulations, or insufficient group bookings, the company reserves the right to cancel the pilgrimage and will refund the amount paid minus any non-recoverable costs.
The company is not responsible for cancellations due to the actions of third parties, such as airlines, hotels, or transportation providers.
4. Visa Processing
Original Passport/Copy of Passport. 2 Copy Passport size photograph.
Bangladeshi passports for at least 6 months’ validity (Until return date).
For foreign passport holder (Born in Bangladeshi written in passport) at least 6 months validity. (Only for Omrah)
The company will assist in obtaining the required Hajj or Umrah visa, but approval of the visa is solely at the discretion of Saudi Arabian authorities.
Pilgrims are required to provide accurate and complete personal information to avoid visa delays or denials. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in visa denial and additional costs, which will be the pilgrim’s responsibility.
Visa fees are non-refundable once the application has been submitted, regardless of the outcome.
5. Travel and Accommodation
The company will provide round-trip airfare (unless otherwise specified), accommodation in Saudi Arabia, transportation between cities, and any other services as outlined in the specific package.
Accommodation is based on shared rooms unless individual rooms are explicitly requested and paid for in advance.
The company reserves the right to substitute hotels of a similar standard if necessary due to availability or other reasons beyond its control.
Transportation within Saudi Arabia will be provided by licensed operators, and the company will not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or interruptions in service by third-party providers.
6. Health and Safety
Pilgrims are required to obtain all necessary vaccinations as mandated by Saudi health authorities and carry proof of these vaccinations when traveling.
It is the responsibility of the pilgrim to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may require attention during the pilgrimage. Failure to disclose such conditions may result in limitations on services provided.
Pilgrims must adhere to the safety guidelines and instructions provided by the group leader, Saudi authorities, or the company’s representatives.
The company is not liable for any illness, injury, or death occurring during the pilgrimage unless directly caused by the company’s gross negligence.
7. Behavior and Compliance
Pilgrims are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the principles of Islam and respect the religious and cultural sensitivities of Saudi Arabia.
Any pilgrim found engaging in disruptive, disrespectful, or illegal behavior may be removed from the group and required to return home at their own expense.
All pilgrims must comply with local laws and regulations, including the rules set forth by the Saudi authorities concerning religious observances, attire, and conduct.
8. Liability
The company acts as an agent for third-party providers such as airlines, hotels, and transportation companies, and as such, will not be liable for any delays, cancellations, or other issues arising from their services.
The company will not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings, financial loss, or additional expenses incurred due to travel delays, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In case of force majeure events such as war, terrorism, natural disasters, pandemics, or changes in Saudi regulations, the company will not be held responsible for cancellations or interruptions in the pilgrimage. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued after deducting non-recoverable costs.
9. Insurance
Pilgrims are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, lost luggage, and emergency evacuation.
The company does not provide travel insurance, and it is the responsibility of the pilgrim to ensure they have adequate coverage.
10. Modifications to Itinerary
The company reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to changes in airline schedules, hotel availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the company will endeavor to provide equivalent alternatives.
Any voluntary changes to the itinerary requested by the pilgrim may result in additional charges.
11. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Any complaints must be reported to the company representative during the pilgrimage for immediate resolution.
If a resolution cannot be reached during the pilgrimage, written complaints must be submitted to the company within 14 days of returning home.
Any disputes arising from the services provided will be governed by the laws of Bangladesh/Saudi Arab and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
12. Force Majeure
The company will not be held liable for any delay or cancellation resulting from unforeseen circumstances such as war, terrorist activity, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
By booking your Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage with Tourice Tour & Travels you agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any part of these Terms may result in the forfeiture of your rights, including the right to a refund.
